Jim Sturgess Biography

 



Jim Sturgess was born on May 16, 1978, in Wandsworth, London, England, UK. He is an English actor. He began singing at a young age, and by the time he was eight years old, he had developed an interest in performance. He attended the Frensham Heights School in Surrey for his academic training. When Sturgess was only 15 years old, he joined his very first musical ensemble. After graduating from high school, he went on to pursue further education at the University of Salford, where he eventually got a Higher National Diploma in Media and Performance in the year 1999.

In 1999, he made his debut on television with a guest part in an episode of “The Scarlet Pimpernel.” Soon after that, he began to appear in a variety of other television movies and dramas as a guest star, beginning with The Quest in 2002 and The Second Quest in 2004. Both of these movies were broadcast on television.
