Annet Mahendru Biography
Anita Devi Mahendru was born on August 21, 1989, in Kabul, Afghanistan. Her birth name was originally Anita. Her mother, Olga, is a successful Russian artist and businessman, while her father, Ghanshan Mahendru, is a journalist from India. She takes after both of her parents. She began her schooling at East Meadow High School and then finished it at St. John’s University. In addition to that, Mahendru was attending classes at New York University in pursuit of a master’s degree. But she changed her mind and chose to pursue a career in acting, so she dropped out of school. After a period of time, she uprooted her life and moved to Los Angeles, where she joined a sketch comedy group known as The Groundlings.
A well-known Indian-American actress, Annet Mahendru earned a nomination for a Critics’ Choice Television Award for her performance as Nina Sergeevna Krilova in the FX drama series “The Americans.” Due to the fact that her parents were both Hindu Indian journalists and her father was a Russian businessman, she spent her formative years traveling all over the world. Mahendru received his high school education at East Meadow and graduated with the class of 2004. St. John’s University in New York was the next institution on her educational path after high school.
