Julia PerezJupe was born in Jakarta on June 15, 1980. She is her father, Angkasa Jaya, and her mother, Sri Wulansih’s daughter.  Both players competed in women’s football. She has heritage from both the Sunda and the Betawi peoples. Julia was still a young child when her parents got a divorce sometime around the year 1988. To provide for her family, her mother was forced to take on a variety of odd occupations. Later on, her mother wed a man named Sakib “Sammy” Mahri, who is the proprietor of a welding company and rental properties.

This friend paid for Julia’s tuition, gave her relationship advice, and encouraged her to date a boy. After that, she found employment at a furniture company that was owned and operated by a Dutchman. She started a relationship with the owner’s son, who eventually extended an offer of employment to her in the Netherlands.
