Lauren Ridloff Biography
Lauren Ridloff was born on April 6, 1978. Lauren was born without the capacity to hear, so she learned to communicate through sign language while attending what is now the Holy Trinity School for the Deaf at Children of Peace Catholic School. Lauren got her start in acting while she was a student at the “Model Secondary School For Deaf” in Washington, District of Columbia. This experience kindled an interest in filmmaking in Lauren.
After completing her senior year of high school, Lauren enrolled in “Hunter College” in the city of New York to pursue a degree in primary education. Her long-term goal is to write books for young readers. After receiving her master’s degree in education from Manhattan College in 2005, Lauren started her career as a teacher by working with kindergarten students.
