Taylor Schilling Biography
Schilling was born on 27 July 1984. She spent her childhood between West Roxbury and Wayland, with her separated parents. She started acting at an early age after becoming a fan of the ER medical drama on NBC. After participating in a middle school production of “Fiddler on the Roof,” she became involved in the school’s theater program.
Schilling attended Fordham University’s Lincoln Center campus after graduating from Wayland High School in 2002. She kept performing in theater while at Fordham, and in 2006 she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree. She continued her acting education in NYU’s graduate school for a while before dropping out to pursue acting auditions. To make ends meet as she pursued an acting career, she worked as a nanny for a wealthy family in Manhattan.
