Thiago Alcântara Biography
Thiago Alcántara does Nascimento, better known simply as Thiago, is a center midfielder for the Spanish national team as well as the German club FC Bayern Munich. He was born on April 11, 1991, in the city of San Pietro Vernotico, Italy, and is a professional player for Spain. He is the winner of four trophies in La Liga, one title in the UEFA Champions League, and one trophy in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Thiago was born in Brazil to two athletes; his mother played volleyball, and both of his parents won the World Cup in their respective sports. Due to the fact that he was born into a footballing atmosphere and inherited footballing genes, he began playing for Flamengo in Brazil when he was only five years old, and he quickly rose through the ranks. He came to Spain since both his father and he played for the same football club, Elche CF. He played for Kelme CF. He joined FC Barcelona when he was just 14 years old.
