Stephen A Smith Biography

 

Stephen A. Smith is a well-known American sports writer who also works as a television and radio broadcaster. He is perhaps best recognized for his work as a commentator on the sports commentary program ‘First Take’, which is broadcast on ESPN. While he was born in the Bronx, he spent his childhood in Hollis, New York, and attended Thomas Edison High School for his senior year of high school.

After finishing high school, he enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Technology, but he only stayed there for a year before transferring to Winston-Salem State University. During that time, he was unsuccessful in his academic pursuits. He started his career as a sports journalist when he was attending the university, and he wrote for a publication called The News Argust, which was the campus newspaper.
