Soimah Biography

 

Soimah Pancawati (born September 29, 1980) is an Indonesian comedian, singer, pesindhèn, and presenter from Yogyakarta, Indonesia. She is able to sing in a variety of styles, such as dagelan, campursari, pesantren, ketoprak, Java pop, and hip-hop, among others. She spent her childhood in a coastal hamlet in Tayu, which is located in Pati, Central Java.


Pancawati made the decision to continue her study at SMKI after she completed her studies at the junior high level (Indonesian Musical High School). She triumphed in a number of singing contests, including the Bintang Karaoke Dangdut in Central Java-Yogyakarta, as well as Dara Ayu and Bintang Televisi.
