Ryan Sheckler is a well-known skateboarder on the professional circuit. He is well renowned for being one of the youngest skateboarders to ever make it to the professional level, and he currently hosts his own program on MTV. Sheckler was born in San Clemente, which is located in the state of California. Sheckler discovered his dad’s vintage skateboard when he was just 18 months old and has been skating ever since. Sheckler taught himself how to maneuver the skateboard using just one leg, and finally, he was able to stand up while riding it.
From when he was 6 years old, he would spend up to 22 hours a week in his backyard skate park, which had a half pipe, table tops, and many grind rails. He came up with his very own move, which he named the “Seck-lair,” and it was an indy kickflip flyout. Sheckler started skating when he was 18 months old, and by the time he was four years old, he was already able to do ollies. After that, at the age of 13, he became a professional in the sport, making him one of the youngest athletes ever to do so.
