Rossa Roslaina Biography
An Indonesian singer with the stage name Rossa, also known as Rossa Roslaina Sri Handayani, she was born on October 9, 1978 in Sumedang, which is located in the province of West Java, Indonesia. Rossa began her career as a singer in 1988, when she released her debut album, titled Untuk Sahabatku. She was only ten years old at the time. Dian Records is the company that created this album for children. Despite this, the album was not successful in garnering attention.
The release of Rossa’s debut adult album, titled Nada Nada Cinta, in the year 1996 marked the beginning of her rise to fame. Then, in 2000, Rossa released Tegar, which catapulted his name to the forefront of the Indonesian music scene. She was awarded “Most Favorite Female Artist” at the MTV Indonesia Awards in the year 2000. In addition, Rossa gave a performance at the Asian music festival known as My Love on October 26, 2000 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
