Mark Addy Biography
Mark Ian Addy was born in York, England, on January 14, 1964. After graduating from Nunthorpe Grammar School, he moved to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in 1982. When he was done with education, he wasted little time diving headfirst into an acting career. Indeed, Mark Addy is a British voice actor and performer. The actor has been active for almost three decades and has been in numerous movies and TV series. Mark’s performances on shows like “Still Standing,” “Game of Thrones,” and “Atlantis” helped to catapult him to fame.
Mark is a versatile actor who has appeared in several parts despite his obesity. In addition, several of his films feature portrayals of Americans from the working class. Mark is well-known as the man behind the American accent of Fred Flintstone, the Pangean cartoon character brought to life in the film adaption.
