Logan Lerman Biography

 

Logan Wade Lerman is the youngest of three children born to Jewish parents Lisa Goldman and Larry Lerman on January 19, 1992, in Beverly Hills, California. He also shares the stage with his brother, actor Lucas, and sister, Lindsey. His mom is a manager, and his dad is an entrepreneur and an orthopedist. His great-grandfather, Jacob Lerman, launched a prosthetics business in 1915, and the company is still in the family’s hands today.


A Jew, that’s what he is. He is religiously observant and has had a Bar Mitzvah at a traditional Jewish synagogue. He is of Ashkenazi Jewish lineage and also has German, Polish, Mexican, and Russian ancestry. Max Lerman, his paternal grandpa, was a Jew from Poland who was born in Berlin. His great-grandmother Mina Shwartz was a Jew from Russia who was born in Mexico City. His Jewish grandmother was a Los Angeles native, and his Jewish grandfather was an immigrant from Poland. Twin musicians Ewan and Jaron Lowenstein are distantly connected to Logan Lerman.
