Kevin Smith Biography
Kevin Smith is an American filmmaker, actor, film producer, and screenwriter. He also produces and directs films. The low-budget movie Clerks (1994), in which he played the character Silent Bob, is largely credited for bringing him to public attention. The majority of his early films took place in his native state of New Jersey, where he was born and raised.
Despite the fact that they do not follow a strict chronological order, they frequently feature crossover plot elements, character references, and a shared canon that fans refer to as the “View Askewniverse.” This shared canon gets its name from the production company that he and Scott Mosier co-founded, View Askew Productions.
