Jenifer Lewis Biography
Jenifer Lewis is one of the most famous faces in Hollywood because to her involvement in more than 300 films and television series. Jenifer plays the hilarious “Ruby Johnson” on the hit ABC show Black-ish, for which she was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Award in 2016. She has been labeled a “national treasure” by both TV Guide and the website itself.
In recent years, Jenifer has been in films including The Wedding Ringer, Think Like a Man, Think Like a Man Too, and Baggage Claim. She is most recognized for her portrayals of Tina Turner’s and Whitney Houston’s mothers in the films What’s Love Got to Do With It and The Preacher’s Wife. In both Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Family Reunion and Meet the Browns, Jenifer played a pivotal part.
