Greyson Chance Biography

 

Greyson Chance is a singer and composer who hails from the country that is now known as the United States of America. People initially got aware of him when he participated in a talent competition in sixth grade and performed Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi.” The performance was uploaded on YouTube and quickly became very popular. Ellen DeGeneres, a winner of an Emmy for hosting a talk show, was so impressed by his performance that she immediately signed him to her own record label, which is called ‘Eleveneleven.’ After signing a contract with ‘Interscope Records,’ he started his professional music career when he was just 12 years old. His first single to be made available on iTunes in 2010 was titled “Waiting Beyond the Lines.”

Around this period, he also embarked on a tour, performing in cities such as London and Paris. His second single was titled “Unfriend You,” and it was followed by the album “Hang On ‘Til the Night,” which was launched in 2012. Both of these projects were published in 2012. On the charts in the United States, the song peaked at position number 29. During his tour of Southeast Asia, he had a performance at the MTV-CCTV Mandarin Music Awards held in Beijing. There have been many accolades bestowed upon Greyson, some of which include the “Hollywood Teen TV Award” for being the best “Teen Pick YouTube Artist of the Year,” the “Youth Rock Award” for being the best “Rocking New Artist of the Year,” and the “MTV-CCTV Mandarin Music Award” for being the most popular new international artist.
