Flor De La Ve Biography
Flor de la V, whose real name is Florencia Trinidad and who was born on March 2, 1975, is an Argentine actress, television personality, comedian, and vedette. She is best known by her stage name Flor de la V. As the protégée of producer Gerardo Sofovich, who found De La V in a revue in Buenos Aires in the year 1998, De La V earned recognition in the media and obtained tiny parts in television. Her breakthrough performance in the critically acclaimed film Los Roldán catapulted her to the forefront of the acting world. She has established herself as a well-known figure in the entertainment industry of Argentina during the course of her career.
According to a statement that was released by GLAAD in 2014, “by her activism and bold exposure, [she] has helped enormously to further the equality movement throughout the globe and especially in Argentina. She was the first transgender person in Argentina to legally alter both her name and the gender that was listed on her government-issued identification without having her gender identity pathologized, and she did it two years before the national Gender Identity Law was formed.
