Qianyuan Wang Biography

 



Qianyuan Wang was born on March 24th, 1982, in Taipei. He and his family emigrated to Canada when he was 14 years old. He attended and graduated from Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School in 2000, before continuing on to study Economics at the University of British Columbia. Because of his upbringing in Canada, he exudes a warmth and candor that endears him to the Taiwanese people.

His breakthrough came with the starring role in the Taiwanese-Korean crossover film Scent of Love. The part of Tang Yu in Chinese Paladin helped him break into the Chinese market and reach a wider audience. Eddie Peng has stated that he is currently taking a vacation from acting after having recently completed filming a movie in Hong Kong.
