Naomi Watts is an actress who was born in the United Kingdom but spent her childhood in Australia. She is now considered to be one of the most significant stars in Hollywood as a result of her exceptional performances in a variety of parts in a wide variety of films. However, it took her career quite some time to get off the ground, but once it did, there was no stopping her as she proceeded from one great project to another that garnered her equal parts fame and acclaim.

Watts began her career as a model, but her career as a model never really took off. As a result, she chose to try her hand at acting in Australian soap operas before she started trying out for movie parts.
