Jackie Earle Haley Biography

 

In Northridge, California, on July 14, 1961, was born Jackie Earle Haley. His father, the actor Haven Earle Haley, had a role as a judge in the Martin Scorsese film Casino. Haley was raised in a creative household and began acting at a young age. In the years that followed, he was featured in an array of advertising. American actor, director, and screenwriter Jackie Earle Haley. In particular, his portrayals as Ronald James McGorvey in “Little Children” and Walter Kovacs/Rorschach in “Watchmen” won him acclaim.

Haley grew up in California, so she had an early introduction to the film business. He made his acting debut in the role of Jamie Boyle on the animated sitcom Wait Till Your Father Gets Home and has since starred in a number of advertisements. It wasn’t long before Haley made his acting debut in the action movie The Outside Man, in which he played the role of Eric. He’s one of the few famous kids from his era who managed to keep his fame as an adult. He made his acting debut in the first installment of “The Bad News Bears” when he was only 13 years old, playing a young criminal.
