Elizabeth Debicki Biography

 

A Polish father and an Australian mother of Irish ancestry gave birth to Elizabeth Debicki on August 24, 1990, in Paris, France. She is the oldest of three siblings, and she grew up with a younger sister and a younger brother. Both of her parents had dance backgrounds, and they actually met at a ballet. But when things slowed down for him in the ballet world, her dad found work in the theater industry instead. When Elizabeth was five years old, her family made the transition to a new life in Melbourne, Australia.

She credits her early introduction to dance training to the fact that both of her parents are professional ballet dancers. But as she matured, her focus moved from modeling to acting. In Melbourne, where she attended Huntingtower School, she excelled academically. After finishing high school in 2007, she received two flawless study grades in English and Drama.
