Justin Fletcher Biography

 



On June 15, 1970, in Reading, Berkshire, England, Justin Fletcher entered the world with a musically-inclined father and a domestically-inclined mother. His mother was a stay-at-home parent, but both of Justin Fletcher’s parents held jobs outside the home when he was growing up. Guy Fletcher Sr. was a songwriter who had previously collaborated with Joe Cocker, Cliff Richard, and Elvis Presley, among others. Fletcher has three sisters, and their names are Amity, Juliette, and Liberty. Legend has it that there is another Fletcher out there with the same name.

Fletcher received a diploma and a bachelor’s degree in theatre from the Guildford School of Acting. In his final year at work, he made it a practice to watch “The Broom Cupboard,” an interstitial program on CBBC. After realizing how much he enjoyed children’s television programs hosted by Phillip Schofield and Gordon the Gopher, he soon made up his mind that he wanted to enter the sector. Therefore, he set his sights on working in children’s television.
