Christopher Allen Lloyd is an American comedian and actor, best remembered for his role as Doc Brown in the “Back to the Future” movies. He uprooted his life from Stamford, Connecticut, when he was just fourteen, and moved to New York City to pursue a career in theatre. It’s in Connecticut, his home state. His acting career in films didn’t start until he was well into his forties after he’d already been in far over 200 stage productions. He had a little part in the film “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” a drama with comic elements.

It not only made a lot of money at the box office, but it also took home five Academy Awards. He went on to star in several critically praised films in the years that followed, including as “The Addams Family,” “Anastasia,” and all three “Back to the Future” films. Lloyd’s work in television has also earned him widespread renown. His performance in the comedy series “Taxi” earned him his first Emmy nomination. He won an Emmy for his role in the Canadian series “Road to Avonlea.” One of his claims to fame is that he rode across Italy. In the film Going in Style, he made a cameo appearance.
