Renée Elise Goldsberry was born on 2 January 1971. Renee Elise Goldsberry is a well-known name in the acting, singing, and composing worlds in the United States. Her portrayal of Angelica Schuyler Church in the Broadway drama “Hamilton” brought her a number of accolades, including a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album, and helped make her one of the most well-known actors in the world. The role of Angelica Schuyler Church in ‘Hamilton’ brought Renee Elise Goldsberry the most recognition and success in her career. Before deciding to pursue a career in the entertainment industry, Renee earned her master’s degree in Music and Jazz from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Renee was born in San Jose, which is located in the state of California.

She ended up taking home the Soap Opera Digest Award for her performance as attorney Evangeline Williamson in the serial “One Life to Live,” which earned her a nomination for the award in the first place.
