Richard Madden Biography

Richard Madden was born on June 18th, 1986 in Elderslie, which is located in the county of Renfrewshire in Scotland. Both of his parents are employed; his mother works as an aide in a classroom, and his father is a firefighter. Madden’s sisters were his constant companions throughout his childhood. He received his education at a public institution located in the Paisley area. He acknowledged that when he was a youngster, he was overweight, reclusive, and had a hard time succeeding in school. In order to help Madden overcome his timidity, the “Paisley Arts Centre” offered a youth theater program. Madden participated in this program.

His acting abilities were first brought to light in an episode of “Barmy Aunt Boomerang” that aired on BBC1 in the year 1999. Madden appeared on the show a total of twenty times over its run. His debut film role was in the 2000 film version of an Iain Banks novel titled “Complicity.” After completing his studies at Glasgow’s illustrious “The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland,” he was awarded his certificate in the year 2007.
