Rebecca De Mornay Biography

 

Rebecca Jane Pearch was born on August 29, 1959, in the city of Santa Rosa, California. At the time of her birth, she was given the name Rebecca De Mornay. She attended both Summerhill Elementary and Summerhill Middle School during her education. In 1986, the actress and the actor Bruce Wagner married the knot and began their lives together. After she and her ex-husband finalized their divorce in 1990, she became engaged to Leonard Cohen for a brief period of time. Because of her relationship with Patrick O’Neal, De Mornay was the mother of two daughters.

“One from the Heart” was the first film in which Rebecca De Mornay appeared in a starring role. After that, she appeared in the movies Risky Business, Testament, The Slugger’s Wife, Runaway Train, and The Trip to Bountiful, playing a variety of characters. After this, in the year 1986, she had a starring role in the television movie titled The Murders in the Rue Morgue. Following that, in the 2017 film adaptation of “Beauty and the Beast,” Rebecca De Mornay portrayed the titular character. The next year, in 1990, she had a role in the television movie titled “By Dawn’s Early Light.” She then made appearances in the movies Backdraft and The Hand That Rocks the Cradle not too long after that.
