Chance Biography

 



Chance the Rapper was born on April 16, 1993, in West Chatham, Chicago. His dad used to work for the previous mayor and senator of Chicago and is now the deputy chief of staff for Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Taylor Bennett, Bennett’s younger brother, is also a rapper.

Bennett attended a high school called “Jones College Prep.”  Rapper Chance the Rapper, whose real name is Chancelor Johnathan Bennett, is a famous American hip-hop musician. Bennett, born in Chicago, Illinois, always loved to sing. His father pushed for him to get a “white collar” job, but he was set on a music career. Bennett and his pal started their own hip-hop combo.
