Mani was born in Los Angeles, California, on April 25, 2000. Her mom was a member of the Queens of Compton rap crew. His father, a seasoned rapper, handles the artistic direction of his career, while his mother manages the business end. Emmy-nominated for its second season, and he appeared in “The Rap Game” in 2016.

Mani’s first teacher on the piano was his mother, Lacresha Hoy. She went as “Cre” while playing with Queens of Compton. Mani’s career in rap music took off when he was still in his teens, and he grew up surrounded by the genre. He has a sizable following among hip-hop artists.
