Famke Janssen Biography

 

Janssen began her successful career as a model at a young age after she was born on January 1, 1964, in the Netherlands. Moving to New York when she was still a teenager, she quickly grew disillusioned with the superficiality of the modeling industry and enrolled at Columbia University to study literature and creative writing. Janssen’s first film role was in the dramatic film Fathers and Sons, released in 1992. After the popularity of GoldenEye, the actress began to book regular roles in films. She played Kenneth Branagh’s ex-wife in Robert Altman’s The Gingerbread Man, Branagh’s girlfriend in Woody Allen’s Celebrity, and Branagh’s character’s brainwashing in Robert Rodriguez’s The Faculty.

Famke Janssen is a well-known celebrity who has delivered outstanding performances throughout her career. In 1984, she started her career as a model. She has modeled for well-known companies.
