Britney Jean Spears, who was born on December 2, 1981, spent her childhood in the Louisiana town of Kentwood. Britney took dancing lessons and excelled at gymnastics, where she won several championships. British pop star Britney Lovett loves to sing more than anything else. Britney was turned down for an audition for The All-New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) when she was just eight years old. This led to her starring as the titular character for two years in the off-Broadway play “Ruthless.
” She tried out for the role of Mouseketeer for the second time when she was 11 years old, and this time she was cast, joining the ranks of current celebrities like Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, and Ryan Gosling. But in the late 1990s, she got her big break when she was signed as a Jive Recording Artist. Britney Spears’ breakthrough occurred with the release of her 1999 debut album, “…Baby One More Time,” which has since sold over 13 million copies worldwide. Her 2000 follow-up, “Oops!…I Done It Again,” has sold over 9 million copies worldwide as of July 2001.
