Geoffrey Rush Biography

Geoffrey Rush, whose full name is Geoffrey Roy Rush, is an Australian film and stage actor. On July 6, 1951, he entered the world in Toowoomba, Queensland. Geoffrey Rush is known for hire which he uses his craggy features and sly wit.

The Australian musician Rush grew up in a suburb of the city of Brisbane, in the state of Queensland. In 1968, he became a member of a theatre troupe that was affiliated with the University of Queensland in Brisbane, and the following year, he enrolled in the university. In 1971, he made his debut with the Queensland Theatre Company (QTC), which had recruited him the previous year.
