Jason Bateman Biography

 



Kent Bateman, an actor and writer, gave birth to him on January 14, 1969, in Rye, New York. His mother Elizabeth was a former pilot and his father Kent was a flight attendant. Not only that, but his father also established a repertory group in the Hollywood area. A half-sister named Justine and three half-brothers round out his biological family. The young boy was only four years old when his family moved and made a new home in Salt Lake City.

They finally made their home in California. His first acting job was in a commercial when he was just 10 years old. Bateman did not complete high school and this is a great loss to his future. In 2001, Bateman wed Amanda Anka, the daughter of musician Paul Anka. They’ve got two kids, Francesca Nora and Maple Sylvie, and they all live in Los Angeles right now.
